Lisa-Jo K. van den Scott is a Professor of sociology at Memorial University.  Her interests include space, place, time, and everyday life.  She has a co-authored the textbook, Qualitative Research in Action: A Canadian Primer with Dr. Deborah K. van den Hoonaard.  She is currently the editor-in-chief of the journal Symbolic Interaction.
